Rent rise is a choice
• YET again the Tory/Lib Dem coalition in the Town Hall is failing to take responsibility for its decisions (Tenants braced for massive rent hikes, Jan 11).
They have chosen to hike up rents, despite Camden’s financial settlement from the Government rising by more than six per cent than last year.
Next door in Tory-run Westminster, rents are around £500 higher than here in Camden and we all know what their attitude was to council housing.
