Camden New Journal - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published:11 January 2007

Noise control

THE building site at St Mary and St Pancras School in Aldenham Street/Polygon Road, Somers Town, put on their generator anytime from 6.30am Monday-Saturday.
Camden Environment have been informed but were told that residents agreed for the generator to go on at 7.30am.
My property unfortunately overlooks the building site and I have had no correspondence from Mansell (the building company) since planning permission was granted back in 2005.
Yesterday (Monday), Building work started at 7.30am with a small JCB and building work is not allowed to start until 8am.
The building site constantly make up their own times and I feel not enough is being done to protect the residents.
If any residents feel Mansell are not keeping to the laws working hours of 8am-6pm please feel free to email me and perhaps Camden Council and Mansell will take our concerns this more seriously.
